Hi there - I am considering purchasing Adobe Acrobat 2020 (student and teacher edition) but have a new Mac that runs on the M2 processor. Are these compatible? I've searched this forum but can't find a clear answer. The "system requirements" page on the adobe website seems to say Acrobat 2020 requires an Intel processor, but I'm hoping I'm missing something. Thanks in advance.

It seems it is not. See: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-and-reader-dc-now-supports-apple-silicon-...

Get Acrobat DC, instead. As far as I understand it, Adobe only offers that version now anyway for Students and Teachers.

Thank you! But, it looks to me like (in Canada at least) there is no standalone Acrobat DC? When I click on that link it takes me to subscription pricing - same costs as Acrobat pro. Also, I looked at the link in your answer. It speaks about "native processing" with the M1 (and presumably M2) processor. But might Acrobat 2020 work on the M2 processor using the "Rosetta emulation mode".

Thank you again!

Of course Acrobat DC is available in Canada. What makes you think it's not?

You can get it from here: https://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/software.html

Because when I click the "buy now" button it takes me to this message:

"Product unavailable.

may have expired or it may not be available in your country or region
(Canada). If you believe this message to be in error, please call Adobe
