Complete pdf form and then send to Fill & Sign and everything entered disappears

I created a form for our contract. It used to be once I did this, I could open the form, fill it in, then send to eSignature and the fields I pre-completed on the form would remain and I could just tag where the client needed to sign. Today, I did this exact same process except everything I entered just vanished when I went to Fill & Sign. I don't want to waste time going into each field and filling it in because it is way more challenging than doing it on the form itself. You have to go to each, then go to the left side and put in the prefilled text. If there is a box to be checked, you have to do the same and then go to the left side and select "checked" rather than just tabbing through the form to pre-complete it. What happened to the eSign option that this is no longer an option? I've spent 1/2 a day already trying to figure out how to make this work as efficiently as it used to. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also experiencing this same problem so would really appreciate some help.

Have been doing this for years with no issue, so not sure what has happened.

When I first started to notice it, I could still carry out the steps with no problem on a MAC: Pre-fill form >> send for for signing.

Now when I pre-fill, the pre-filled data disppears before sending.

Help!

I finally had to drag it to the website instead of doing it from the desktop. It was complete insanity trying to find a work around. I completed it, then drug the file into Request Signatures or something - I am not sure at this point I could even replicate how I solved it because I tried that same way about 5 times and it didn't work. Then, suddenly it did. BIZARRE. I lost about a 1/2 day of work. I have a Windows PC so I'm not sure if the Mac would be the same.

1/2 a day! I don't even know how much time I've lost wasting trying to figure this out and you've just solved it.

Works on a MAC too

I can't tell you how thankful I am!!

Thanks a million.

Glad to help! I wasn't sure if it would because I drug it to the fill and sign and it did the same. Then finally drug it to Request Signatures and then it behaved as it has for years and years 🙂

I'm also having this issue. I was able to send some documents mid-December then all of a sudden all the data on the contracts I filled in was disappearing after I routed it. In addition, all the signature and initals that the individuals did, were so small it coulnd't be read. I tried on my PC through the app and online. No difference. I also went so far as to print my fillable form to pdf and then set the signatures up on that document. Any repsonse from Adobe yet as to a solution?

Try dragging it completed into the Adobe Sign on a browser into Adobe Sign. That seemed to do the trick for me.

I've tried that and it does not work. The data is still gone.

I experience this on forms I created in Adobe through the web.  I send the form to someone else to fill out. They fill in all the fields, sign and hit send. Then everything goes blank and they have to start over.
