Hi,
One of my customers has a need to convert a whole bunch of Microsoft .DOT files on a regular basis (yes, I know it's an old file format). When she selects them, along with other filetypes such as docx etc, and selects the convert to PDF option she gets an error along the bottom of the window stating the .DOT files are not a supported type and she has to remove them and open them in Word, save them as a normal DocX filetype and then re-add them. This has to be done one by one and is very time consuming.
Can you please advise how we can add support for .DOT files, or perhaps some other work around?
Kind Regards,
Neil

I'd look at how to automate the conversion in Word. You can't add new types or methods to Acrobat's converter.
