Convert PDF to excel - it takes several hours

Hello I am trying to convert PDF to Excel.

It takes several hours before it is ready.

The file is 8 mb (about 1000 pages).

Can I change settings to speed up the process?

Yes i use Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit

Unchecking the Text Recognition option could certainly speed up the process.

No, the export function doesn't need an installation of Excel.

I split the file (max 500 pages) - then your suggestion will work.

However, it takes about 3-4 hours before Adobe has exported the information to Excel.
