Converting Email Safelink issues

We use Microsoft Safelinks to ensure our companies email is not infected with viruses. Microsoft Safelink puts a wrapper around a link and replaces the current link text that would be located in an email.  For some reason, when you try to convert any email to a pdf that has a longer link, the pdf will be extremely small. It is like it is trying to fit the email on landscape 1 x 1 page. It is so small that you have to increase it to 800 to be able to read the pdf.

We have tested various emails and documents and the issues remains. If the link is too long than it won't convert to a pfd correctly. I have tried to take one of the emails, copy the text into word and then convert to a pdf. This will keep the correct size of the font but removes all hyperlinks from the email.

We use Microsoft Office 365 Outlook for email. Please see below for screen shot of version

For Adobe Acrobat, we are using the subscription model

To convert the emails, I select File from Outlook then select Save as Adobe PDF

We do not use the print to PDF since the links don’t carry over.

Thanks

Hi Lisao,

As you are creating the PDF from the Outlook, please try to use the Adobe Acrobat ribbon.

Please check the conversion settings before creating the PDF.

- Click on Acrobat  > Change conversion settings.

- The Adobe PDF Maker window will open. There you can check the settings.

- To create PDF from an email select the option "Selected message" or Selected folders".

Check if that helps.

Kicking a dead post here, but has there been any resolution to this? I noticed the Adobe rep stepped in for a minute only to realize the tool she was recommending doesn't exist.

I've also contacted Microsoft with this issue and received a similar level of "expert" help.
