If I use the comment tool to create, let's say, a text box with some text in it, is there a way to copy that entire text box with the text? I used to be able to do this in previous versions, instead of copy and pasting the text into a new text box.

It works fine for me.. I just click on the comment itself, and then paste it.

Huh... Try copy and pasting with comments enabled, the comment bars up. it doesn't work then. But you are right, it works without that open.
Thanks.

I just tried it, and it works properly, consistently. Have you tried this on other PDFs, or just on one? I wonder if it's a problem file? Anything more you can tell us to help sleuth out the issue? Which version of the program... and which program?

Hi Dave,
It's working, I just can't have the comments toolbar expanded or it doesn't work.
I'm using Acrobat Pro DC Version 2015.023.20056

Hmmm... It works for me whether I have the Commenting Tools shown, hidden, etc. When you click on the comment, what tool is active? Are you sure you are getting a selection? Try both the Hand Tool and the Selection Tool. If the issue is the selection not working, you may want to visit your Preferences>General and take a look at the settings for how the Hand tool behaves.
My best,
Dave

Still not working.. messed around with the preferences a little.
Oh well, not a big deal since I figured a workaround. Thanks.
