creating a form for others to fill in and send back

I have purchased the full adobe program, but I am wanting to create a form so that others who don't have it, can fill in the blanks and then send back to me.  I have trie on two pc's (one with the fill program downloaded and the other with just reader - as that is what most people have) but when ever I send the form after filling it in, it just come back to me blank. 

Any help would appreciated.
