Date & Signature Fields

Hello,

I am new Adobe Acrobat DC.  I am using it on my mac.  I am trying to create a fillable form for safety paper work to be filled out and signed in the field by the staff members using their phones.

I have created a text field and set it to signature but when opening it with any pdf software on my iPhone, including adobe, it is just a regular text field.  The same is happening with the date field.

Any help?

Further to the above, when looking at the support pages for Adobe Acrobat DC what is shown in "Properties" when clicking on the field is completely different then what is shown on the help pages on the website.

I have created in under acrobat form not the adobe sign form.

Even if I start from a black document and just add 3 text fields, one as text, one as signature and one as date they are all just a text field when I try to open it up in another pdf reader including adobe's reader

When you create the form don't activate the option "This document requires signatures".

Click on Tools - Prepare Form and then click on "More" at the right side of the window and then on "Revert to Acrobat Form". In the future, do not tick the box that says "This document requires signatures" when creating the form.

Are there any restrictions for use during the 7-day trial period?  I wanted to give this a go before committing to a purchase and see if it will work for our team.
