date validation not working in foxit

Why does acrobat scerip not work in foxit.

I was looking there. Is it common for the JS to be different in foxit and
acrobat?

Some PDF viewers supports no Javascript or only a subset of Javascript.

Ok, do you have a date format js for acrobat, maybe I can edit it to work
in foxit.

What is your script?

Acrobat supports some deprecated JavaScript features that Foxit don't. This causes small incompatibilities.

Hi, I have 2 scripts in a hidden text field.
First script is to format the date to dd/mm/yyyy
Second script checks to see if the dropdown beside the text field made a
specific choice. If the Amendment was chosen, the date field becomes
visible.

I attached the form. Fields are in the top row.
Type de déclaration, the hidden date field is to the right of it.

PS. The form works in acrobat. the problem is it does not work in acrobat
DC READER.
