How do I add a digital signature using the Keyboard commands only? (no mouse)

we have folks using screen readers to navigate and want to add a digital signature.

It most likely depends on the screen reading technology used. As far as I'm aware digital signature fields are accessible (hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong about that).

The following link provides a good overview of how to digitally sign PDFs using JAWS for example, albeit with focus on earlier version of Acrobat, the shortcuts would be the same:

Acrobat and Acrobat Reader DC also work with VoiceOver and NVDA and a number of other screen readers.
