Digital Signature requiring password but not accepting it.

I recently started having an issue when trying to digitally sign documents in Adobe Acrobat.  The digital signature comes up, requests my password, but does not accept my password.  Thus, effectively not letting me sign any documents.  Any ideas as to what might be going on?
