Hi,
Does anyone know how to disable the Fill & Sign popup when opening Adobe DC. It's been doing this for about 2 months now and I can't figure out how to turn it off. I do not use the Fill & Sign feature.
Thanks

Hi dleisconroy
We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the Fill & Sign Pop up everytime you open the PDF
Assuming you are using a Windows machine, to disable FTE, set the registry value :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]
"bToggleFTE"=dword:00000001
Open registry through Run command i.e. type regedit in Run and click ok.
1. Navigate to the Registry location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown.
2. Highlight FeatureLockDown.
3. In the right window, right click in the Blank space and choose New > DWORD (32 bit) Value.
4. Enter the value bToggleFTE
5. Highlight the Registry value i.e. bToggleFTE > Right click and choose Modify.
6. Enter Value Data as 1 and click Ok.
Reboot the computer and launch the Reader.
Please keep us posted with the results.
Regards,
Amal

How can we do turn this feature off on a Mac? This feature has just become an issue for me too and it's driving me bananas!

Whats the point of adding an annoying behaviour to your software, then requireing a non tech user to access the Registry Editor to turn it off. Practices like are what make people hate Adobe. Is it really that difficult to put a check box into the preferences area???

Open up adobe fill and sign and touch the little person symbol, then click the settings top right corner and disable the usage info. And The pop-ups will stop.

Some users may face an issue while opening a PDF file where a window pops up on the screen requesting login to access the document.
Follow this guide to disable Adobe ID Sign-in Pop-up Window:
Step 1. First, the user will need to go to the Registry Editor. Users can access the Registry Editor by opening the Start menu from the bottom left corner of the screen and searching the term “Regedit”.
OR
Alternatively, users can use the Run application to open the Registry Editor. Users can simply type the term “Regedit” in the box and press the Enter key to open it.
Step 2. After going to the Registry Editor, the user will be required to open the registry folder for the Adobe Acrobat Reader application. The user can access the folder by entering the path in the command box on the top or by navigating through the folders in the sidebar on the left themselves.
To access the folder, users will be required to follow the path mentioned below:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Acrobat Reader > DC > Workflows

Emma. You need to read the question before giving an answer to a completely different subject. This is not about having to sign in to Acrobat. Its about signing documents. Answers like yours make it more difficult to find correct answers.
