Hello. I am working on a 100 pg report. It is comprised of 18 exhibits. Each exhibit differs in the amount of documents. For example, Exhibit 1 has 3 pages, Exhibit 2 has 22, Exhibit 3 has 14 and so on.
I need to place an Exhibit footer/bates stamp, not sure what to call it, on the bottom right hand corner. I know how to do this in Action Wizard-Document Numbering. My problem is I don't need it labeled across the board.
I need first page of Exhibit 1 to say "Exhibit 1, pg. 1 of 3" next page to say "Exhibit 1 pg. 2 of 3,". THEN restart this for Exhibit 2 to say "Exhibit 2, pg. 1 of 22" and so on.
How do I set the parameters of each exhibit, and how do I get it to restart back to pg. 1 for each?
Help please

The builtin Bates numbering function cannot do this. It will take the creation of a custom dynamic stamp along with additional scripting.

I think you can do this by exporting the file by bookmarks, and then going into each exhibit file and changing the stamp settings. However, you will probably have to combine the files that are not exhibits, remove Bates numbers, and then add Bates numbers to the combined files so they remain sequential. Then, go into Organize Pages, and re-insert the exhibits files where they belong.
