Document will not open

Document will not allow me to remove the security password with the password I created. It allowed me to open the document on the 3rd try but is rejecting the password that I created to remove the security so I can print.

Just to make sure I understand you query:

• you have a pdf, protected by a password
• you have the correct password
• you have to try 3 times to open the pdf using the password
• you access the document properties, in the Security tab, you use the password to allow printing
• That does not work.

Can you confirm that you used password security to lock the file, not certificate or other options?

Can you also confirm that you used the same password to open the file and restrict printing?
