I uploaded PDFs to our company website. A day later I needed to edit the pdfs. Safari continues to show the old version despite my having selected "clear history" and "empty caches" in the browser. I had someone view the files on another computer and they confirmed the new versions are being displayed yet I continue to see the old version. Might adobe's pdf viewer plugin have it's own cache separate from the browser? If so, how can I clear this. Thank you.

What plugin does you use in Safari?

Thanks for the info and question. It appears my knowledge is out of date. In times gone by, when I installed Adobe Acrobat, it would also install a browser plugin for online viewing of pdfs. I thought this was still the case but it appears pdf view ability is now built into safari because I was unable to locate any plugin or extension associated with pdf viewing.

You should use Acrobat directly instead of using it through an Apple spyware.
