I'm trying to download Acrobat XI Standard and both versions at the download site (Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X) are Pro and won't take the serial number I got from my account. The Standard version is marked as STD but when I install it, the installer for Pro comes up. My serial number will only work with the Standard version.
If Dell sold it to you it is not the retail product, and you would need to contact Dell for a disk or download.

1. Make sure that what you downloaded is called AcrobatStd_11_Web_WWMUI.exe
2. Make sure it was a normal retail license. If it was a volume license, contact your license coordinator. If it came bundled with a scanner you must use the ORIGINAL DISK, no other option.

1. Yes, that is the file I downloaded.
2. The software was either installed at the factor when I purchased the computer from Dell several years ago, or I downloaded an update from Adobe. I never had the original disk.
I downloaded both files from Adobe this time, for the Pro version and Standard, but when I install the one marked Standard, the wizard comes up for the Pro version. The serial number I got from my account didn't work with either, though both say Acrobat XI.
