dragging check boxes in Acrobat

New Here ,
May 01, 2020 May 01, 2020

Something that has been bothering me is that I can't drag check boxes in Acrobat. Every time I position the mouse over a check box it only will let me change the size of the check box, not drag it to a new position. I don't have a problem with other fields I create, I can drag those.

Has anyone else expereinced this? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

That is probably they are smaller. Note  if when you hover the mouse pointer becomes the select tool pointer (the black arrow) or if you're using the hand tool. If it is not the hand tool, check that the mouse pointer changes to the select object black arrow. Then point and click and drag them.

The problem seems to be related to working with a page display zoomed out too much making it difficult to aim the select tool pointer inside the checkbox or radio button area, not the borders.

Try it yourself. Just increase the zoom a little bit ; hit the (CTRL, +) keys about two or 3 times to increase the zooming and you'll be able to drag and drop them properly.
