Dropdown List

Hi, would anyone know how to add/insert special characters/symbols to a drop down list in Acrobat Pro DC?

Characters/symbols such as a tick, asterix and dash, and if this is possible, the asterix to be red?

If there is another way for a form to achieve these items to be selected upon fill in, I would be very grateful for any info/tips!

TIA

Hi Kallume,

Sorry for taking so long to respond.

As per the description mentioned above, you want to know how to add special characters/symbols in a drop-down list in Acrobat Pro DC, is that correct?

Please refer to the following links discussing this topic:

Hello, is it possible to add emojis (such as these: https://www.emojicopy.com/ ) on a dropdown menu in an editable pdf file? I am using Adobe Acrobat to generate such file. Thank you for your help in advance.

As font for the drop down list use the font "Wingdings".

There's a recent post from someone who did that and found out it didn't work correctly on mobile devices. I think it's better to stick with Unicode characters, if possible.

Oh, and no, you can't have one item in the list be red and the rest be black.
