Dynamic stamp size becomes small sometimes after applying

Hi there.

I've created a custom dynamic stamp and sometimes, after I apply the stamp, the stamp size becomes very small (like a dot) and I can't figure out why. The code that is written with Adobe Java script has no problem (I think!) and I've searched the forum and couldn't find relevant help.

I will attach a short video (1 min) of what happens when I try to apply the stamp. In the video I am filling the form and applying it and everything is fine till minute 0:23. You can see in one of the trial the stamp becomes very small. Please take a look at the video so it'll be more clear. This happens sometimes and I can't figure out if this is a bug.

I have tested this on latest version of adobe acrobat pro dc (2021.007.20099) by the way.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Certainly looks like a bug... I never encountered it before, though.

I think the same.

If we assume it's a bug, how can we fix it?

Thanks a lot.

I don't know about fixing the issue, but you could create a work around, for example an automation script that resizes the stamp. So if the stamp seems to dissappear after creation, the user just clicks on the automation tool button and the stamp pops back to the original size. You might even be able run this script automatically from the stamp script by putting it on a timeout.

I've had stamps do this before. Many times. It's because the mouse was dragged, just a little bit, instead of a clean click.

In the video it look like this is exactly what is happening. The mouse is moving when the click takes place.

Thanks all for the answer.

I tried to apply the stamp by hitting enter and not moving the mouse at all, same thing happened.

What do you think?

Here is a short video again, at minute 00:18 when I tried, same thing happened!
It's so odd . . .

Thanks in advance again.
