E-signing multiple PDFs in one portfolio

New Here ,
May 13, 2020 May 13, 2020

Our organization is starting to use E-signing as we deal with remote and small communities that are limited in their ability to handle physical documents at this time.  However, our process involves sending multiple discrete documents (an agreement and then 2-5 addendums, all of these are considered seperate in our workflow).  Is there any way to set up an E-sign submission that has multiple documents within it that can then be treated as individuals afterwards?

Right now it seems like our options are either

A) send each signer multiple E-sign requests, one per document - which will be a hassle for whoever we're dealing with

B) send them as one document using the built-in add file feature and then figuring out a workaround to an E-signed document that can no longer be split back into its constituents, which is a hassle for us internally

Is there any way to send someone a single request to E-sign documents A, B and C at the same time but as seperate files?

Thanks in advance

This is a feature of Adobe Sign.  Not Portfolios, but handling multiple documents. If you have Acrobat Pro DC, then you can try it out. Just click on Fill & Sign and add multiple documents to the process, when it comes back, the final document will be all the docs concatonated together, but on the cloud control panel there will be an option for downloading the individual forms.

Okay, but DC is no longer avaialble that I can see.  I have Acrobat Pro, and even when i add multiple files, it merges them now into separate files and once signed they are not separable.  I can't seem to find a solution.

Any advice?

Document handling has changed since that post. Since signing is a web service, Adobe can change it whenever they like, which is what happened.

Hi @Thom Parker , I just returned to the "legacy experience" of  AdobeSign  in order to sign multiple docs at once because I couldn't find how to do it in the "new" experience (which is kind of the old experience but with nicer buttons :-#).
Do you happen to know how we can batch process multiple documents for signing (the docs have to remain individually downloadable docs after signing)?

Attachement: the "Add more files here" section of the "Legacy experience"

Best regards,

M0

Have the seen the "Send in Bulk" command?   I think this is what you are looking for.  Look on the Tools pallette under the "Form and Signatures" category.
