Edit rotated text in DC originally created in Illustrator

Hey folks,

I have a design in which I created text to align with shapes at various rotations on the page within Illustrator. Then in DC I added buttons over those shapes via Rich Media. Now that I've done that I can't edit the text in Illustrator anymore. When I go to Edit PDF, DC isn't able to read the text boxes that are at a rotation without lumping various other text boxes. Does anyone have any suggestions to get DC to read these properly other then recreating all the text in DC using the Add Text feature?

If the buttons are preventing you from selecting the text, I can suggest a possible work-around. Duplicate your PDF, save it as an optimized PDF to remove the buttons, make your edits. Open the original PDF and go to Tools> Organize pages> Replace pages, select the edited PDF as the replacement. The buttons on the original PDF should be preserved and the content should be from the edited PDF.

Secret is: don't select only one text object, select everything on the page and right-click on it: Edit with Illustrator.
