Hi All,
I have an issue whereby I have 2 identical installations on my PC and Laptop
When I edit text, my laptop always picks up the correct text boundaries, but my PC almost always doesnt, or merges ones that shouldnt be (same PDF).
Why is this and how can I fix it?

Hi @Hong20
I'm truly sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Acrobat DC. I understand how frustrating that can be. Let's work together to get this resolved.
Firstly, could you please clarify if this problem is specific to one particular PDF file or if it's happening with all PDFs? It would be helpful to try opening a different PDF file to see if the issue persists.
In addition, if you could provide a short video recording of the problem and your workflow, it would greatly assist in diagnosing the issue effectively.
To further assist you, could you confirm the version of Acrobat DC you're using? You can find this information by going to Help > About Acrobat. Please make sure you have the most recent version, which should be 23.06.20320. If not, you can check for updates by going to Help > Check for updates. After updating, please reboot your computer.
For Windows users, you might also consider repairing the installation from the Help menu if the issue persists.
If the problem still lingers, you can try resetting the Acrobat preferences by following the steps outlined in this article: How to Reset Acrobat Preference Settings to Default.
If none of the above solutions work, you can attempt creating a new test user profile with full admin rights on Windows or enable the root account on macOS to see if the application functions correctly there.
In the event that the problem persists despite all these efforts, you can consider removing the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool, which can be found here: Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool. Afterward, please reboot your computer and reinstall the application using the direct link: Acrobat DC Downloads.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or encounter any difficulties during the process
