Error 16

I'm having trouble with Error 16 on a Windows 10 computer. I get the same error with Acrobat XI, or Acrobat DC. I've attempted to follow the instructions at:

Configuration error in Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Creative Suite

But I don't see the SLStore folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

Don't the instructions say to look in Programdata? That's definitely not where you are looking  (program files)

You are correct, I missed that in the instructions. I have set permissions at both locations, and still have the error 16. Any ideas?

The sole purpose of me replying here is to say that Adobe is biggest piece of s**t software I had misfortune to work with.

I get the Error 16 ALL THE TIME, almost every 24 hrs, and every time I have to run Cloud to perform "update" and practically reinstall the software.

This should have been FIXED long time ago yet, I google and see many people still having issues with this specific error.

As I said, piece of s**t software and I am very sorry that I'm stuck with it (business) and have no alternative to use.
