I used my redemption code and downloaded Acrobat Standard DC. I keep receiving Error 28000 when trying to install. I have followed all the recommended proceedures to install. No luck. What's next?

kglad,
Thank you for your response.
Last night I got the Acrobat download files to install after uninstalling and reinstalling Creative Cloud and Adobe Reader, installing all updates recommended for my (new) computer and then trying one last Adobe DC install... that worked. (Only took this novice 5 hours.)
I went thru the procedures you noted without luck. I was never able to "directly" communicate with anyone at Adobe. You were the first response and for that I thank you.
Also, please note that when I copied the link in your e-mail... there was no option to click "Correct" below the answer... until I "Signed In". Again, novice mistake but we tend to follow instruction literally.
Thanks again,
James659
