Hello Team,

Their seems to be an issue with new Adobe Acrobat UI. When Adobe Acrobat PRO (with new user interface) keeps crashing. I start working with it, open a few documents and all works fine for some time, but then it crashes (=freezes). This happens a few times a day. My colleagues have the same problem. Some of us have brand new computers, so general performance should not be the issue here.

Switching back to the old user interface fixes the problem so I use that as a workaround, but I do like some of the new features in the new interface so would like to keep working with it if there is a fix. Anyone knows?

I am in Adobe Acrobat PRO 64-bit version 24.004.20272

Acrobat Professional Version 20.0 for MacOS

When opening pdf documents.

Both single and multiple documents. Sometimes it crashes rightaway, other times it takes a bit.

Difficult to isolate any particular document or documents. It just does it in general after opening a document.

We have a workaround for the issue. Please try and let me know if this helps:

1. If Acrobat 2020 is signed in on the system, sign out Acrobat 2020 first.
2. Uninstall the current installation of Acrobat 2020 Classic.
3. Do a fresh installation and choose; I have a serial number option in the installer, and enter the valid serial number in the installer.
4. Follow the remaining installer prompts to install the product.
5. When Acrobat launches, it will ask only for the user's sign-in and will not ask for the serial number.
6. The product shall work fine after you enter valid credentials.

Nah... Same issue as karen_8128...

Tried to uninstall manually and with this app, but the problem is still there (I'm on Sequoia 15.2 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020.

We need a resolution to this! Right now the app is not useable. Maybe ask sales to give us a license key for another version that works. We can't go on for weeks with a paid product that does not work. Thank you!

Add me to the list. I had already tried the reinstall approach including clearing system folder which I, as a Mac OS tech know how to do, to no avail.

My MacBook is 2019 i9 64GB RAM 2TB storage running Sequoia 15.3. Failure started around September with an update I suspect. You already have the Mac OS crash report which is the same here. Afew times, I've had to force quit after a wait due to Acrobat locking Finder till the OS releases it restoring the Dock and Apple button to receive input.

$500 for this mess. Not satisfied.
