Error occurs during uploading

When I attempt to convert a word document to a PDF, I get a message: An error occurred while uploading. Please try again.  Any ideas as to what may be causing this to occur?

Please tell us the exact versions of your OS and Adobe Acrobat.

We also need to know the steps that you were using to create the PDF.
