Error when using Fill & Sign

Yesterday while using fill and sign to edit PDF files, Acrobat started freezing and coming up with an error box giving me the option to send the error report.  I did this but each time I tried to use the fill and sign feature the same thing would happen.

 

It's still happening this morning.  I have a lot of documents that I need to fill in using this feature in order to send them back and without being able to do this is causing some very impatient people.  

 

Is anyone able to assist with this error??  TIA

We released a patch that contains a fix for the issue. Would you mind updating the app to the latest version and checking if it works now?

In that case, please go to the below-mentioned location and delete the files:

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initials

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsi

%appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsk

Despite installing the updates working, I'm now having the same problem again.  I've searched for these files on my computer but they aren't coming up, but there's files that are the same that have reader instead of acrobat.  Are these the same??

I had the same problem. I could neither e-sign or click on signature. I didnt know what was wrong, it was working perfectly before. I've been trying to fix this problem since 3 hours and now this worked! Thank you.
