Hi all, hoping someone can help. We are trying to streamline our maintenance contracts to customers, but running into some issues.

We have created an Acrobat form with several fillable fields (Customer name, address system information etc), however we have two issues:

1. Customer can also edit these form fields when they are sent a copy of the agreement

2. When sending for an ESignature, on the customer part when they click Start and Next, it scrolls through all the filled in fields, rather than just taking them to the signature and date field at the bottom of the document.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

The fields need to be assigned to a specific participant, instead of everyone/anyone so they cannot be changed by another participant.

Hi @kimg72423692,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

You can try the below steps:

  • To edit multiple form fields, select the fields that you want to edit, right-click one of the selected fields, and choose Properties.

More info here: PDF form field properties.

Hope this helps.

I need a few people to edit form fields, sign then, send to next person, edit form fields then send to remaining persons for authorization. 2nd user remains unable to edit form even though that user is listed as person assigned to edit.  Guidance please and thank you!

Is there a way to change all fields at once so that I don't have to go through every field and assign?  No one needs to stop at the fields once I'm sending it for signing.  i just need it to go right to the signing part.
