file not printing at actual size when printing a booklet

Hi everyone,

When I go into the print dialogue box, I choose "Actual Size" under "Page Sizing & Handling". I then click on the "Booklet" tab so I can print a booklet, but when I print it out as a booklet, it always scales down a little bit, ie. not printing at actual size, even though I checked this option under "Size".

I wondered if anyone could help me troubleshoot this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

That’s a feature, not a bug. Unfortuneately Adobe designed the booklet print like that and there is no workaround, except using a third party imposition program.

I solve such issues with Adobe Indesign, a solution that is not optimal, but workable. It’s manual imposition however, except if you find a script doing that.

Thanks for the reply. I've also printed directly from Indesign and found that it does keep the original size but it would be good to be able to do the same thing with Acrobat. I guess I'll have to make do.

Thanks again for your help.

Printing directly from Indesign is not recommended. The recommended workflow is exporting to PDF and printing the resulting PDF file.
