flatten/remove form fields

Acrobat Pro DC.

Is there a better/easier way to remove form fields besides printing to pdf? One of the most used features in acrobat is the forms, and sending a form after it's filled out with the form fields still present creates an opportunity for someone else to edit whats been entered.

I cant believe printing to pdf is the only/ easiest solution.

You can use a script to do it. It's literally one line of code:

this.flattenPages();

You can use Redact Tool > Remove Hidden Information to flatten the forms field.

Actually, flattening doesn't prevent editing in any real or useful way. Just stops one app (the free Acrobat Reader) doing it.
