hello guys,

I have a form created from a word document (not that I think that matters) in Adobe Pro 2017.

I have 29 fields (created by duplicating the original fields, not copy/paste) intended to record a numeric value.  The fields are all set to Number, with a currency symbol (it didn't make any difference if it was on or off, not that it would) justified right and set to two decimal places.

At the bottom of the page I have a field which I intend to sum the values of any fields within the range, so I went to Calculate>Value is the sum of... and selected all of the fields which would contain the numbers I'm expecting.

The trouble is that instead of summing the numbers, it is summing and doubling, so 10+10+10 is coming out as 60.

I've checked the input fields to see if they are outputting a double value, which they are not, and the only code I'm using is the built in steps in the Calculate tab.

Does anyone know why this is happening, or how I can fix it please?

TIA,

Su

Thank you!  I thought I wasn't but it turns out I had included the original field that I duplicated the subsequent fields from.
