I notice that you're using a version so old it's already out of support. There have been improvements since then, but I can't say if they will resolve your issues.

What software do you mean by “Adobe” and what is your objection to it?

Acrobat XI. I find it unstable. I am trying to tag some text, I select it, click text and it does not tag it. As well I try to artifact some and it will not. But this is only on some pages. I re-built the PDF, still an issue, only on different pages this time.

I find Acrobat XI buggy, just like the AEM I use.

Adobe, always new versions so you have to buy them each time. Scam from Adobe.

Yeah, they do work, they want you to pay for it. Outrageous, they should give it all away.

No, they need to make solid apps. Just like their wonderful LiveCycle, you can make an accessible PDF with it. You still have to use Acrobat. But if you make it with acrobat, you do not need LC. They used to be bundled together. So they make them seperate so they can charge more.

Ever try to contact Adobe? All there is is this forum. I belong to the LC forum, and of the 11 questions I have asked over the past year, not one was even responded to.

So Again, does anyone know of another software to make PDFs accessible?

You can contact Adobe tech support by phone or chat. But not for unsupported products like Acrobat XI. Just check you have all the Acrobat 11 updates, there were a lot of fixes in this area I understand.
