Formular nach Ausfüllen und Speichern sperren

Hallo,

Danke!

Without signing the file the only thing you can do in Reader is to set all the fields as read-only. This is not a secure solution at all, though, as they can be easily changed back to being editable.

Schade.

Why is that? If you want to be able to properly flatten the form you need to get Acrobat. The free Reader is only for viewing the file. For advanced editing you need to pay.

You can save the filled out PDF with keyword protection. Then that what you want works, too.

English:

  • Open the form in Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • fill in the informations
  • Klick "Print" and choose a PDF-Printer
  • Safe the PDF

The file than is a little bit bigger but a "normal" PDF whithout the option to change the informations in the form.

Adobe Acrobat can change the information.

Hi Bernd, you are right. Adobe Acrobat can edit most text based PDFs. But I guess my solution works in Jan's case. Like I understand he talks about "a normal PDF" whithout form fields.

Datei -> Speichern Unter -> Format "Adobe PDF, optimiert"

Hello, I have the same question. I create a document / an inspection record in InDesign with interactive text fields and export it as an interactive PDF. This document should be filled with products, serial number, purchase date, condition etc. After filling the document the text fields should be locked by just savinbg the PDF without any indeep saving configurations by the person that fills it. And I know there must be a way. I have a COVID protocol sheet from a client and this has the funtion. Enter the data (Name, Date, Location) save the document and afterwards there is no more change possible. Unfortunately this document is password encrypted so I have no way found to get the details / configuration of this document.

I use a Creative Cloud incl. Acrobat Pro.

Maybe someone has an idea.

Thx,

Lucas

Hi,
