Hi when i go to open any PDF now with double click or "Open with" i get the following error
Adobe Acrobat could not open '20220322_&flow.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
This has only started recently and is causing me serious problems.
Im using a Macbool Pro Monterey and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2022.001.20085.
Any advice woudl be really appreciated.
Sean

Open the file in a plain-text editor, like Notepad. What's the first line you see there?

Its totally blank

Then the file has been corrupted.

I can open these same PDFs on my older mac so they are not corrupt.

An empty file is obviously corrupt.... Maybe it corrupted in the transfer from the old computer to the new one.

No, these are files that opened previously on the newer mac... I just happen to have my old mac sitting next to it still so tested the same pdfs over there.

What does you see when you open the file in a text editor?

I have this problem too, and when I open the file in Notepad, the first - the ONLY - line says "{"fromReader":false}"

Then it's not a PDF file. Something went wrong when you downloaded it.

Thanks so much! I will report that to the library then.
