Getting in and out of zoom tool

When I use the zoom tool, I end up getting stuck with it. how do I de-seldct the zoom tool once I'm finished using it?

Press Esc or click the Hand tool.

To come out of the one tool, or to deselect the current tool, you need to select another tool. You can choose Hand or Select tool to continue to work on.
