Google Sheet Hyperlinks stopped working...

Something has changed and I don't know what to do. I create proposals in Google Sheets and print to pdf and the products are hyperlinked to supplier datasheets. It's always worked, until now. When I printed to pdf before, I would get a tab popup of the pdf I printed to, and all my links worked. Now, that doesnt happen AND none of my links work. I do not recall any setting changes or updates?

I opened a legacy file and reprinted the sheet to pdf to compare the original pdf. The original works, but the new one does not. same file, printed to pdf at a different moment in time?

I need this resolved deperately... Thank you.

When I print to pdf after creating a proposal. Our proposal template is
designed with pull downs for the various customers we bid to, so each saved
pdf has its own file name that is coded to the customer.

Here is a couple examples of what used to work (Chevron quote) versus what
happens now (Foot Locker quote). Same template, different outcome when
printing to pdf no versus then.

Rather than print to PDF, you should simply File > Download as > PDF. This saves in Acrobat 5 (1.4) compatible file, which matches the older file you posted. Your second file appears to have been processed by Distiller v21, so are you sure you "printed" these to PDF? (That is not a recommended workflow these days)

I did discover that solution. I've always 'printed to pdf' from my google sheets application, which was really a download event inevitably. I always thought it was kinda contradictory, but it worked and I just went about my business. Somewhere, something changed and the experience of 'printing' that way changed. Last week I was looking around and found the download approach. It is a micro extra step, but the experience mimics what it used to be like to 'print to file'... So - I am happy... Problem solved.

I am way out in front of my skiis with the formulas and linked documents and stuff... I've been told its all quite complex and even impressive, but it is not 'what I do', so occassionally, I make a new feature and then break something in a formula or process... LOL
