Hello,
Currently I have a pdf layout with blank fields. These fields are filled out when I import a text file. Now, using the information I have imported I am able to create my barcode string. For instance, I would generate the following string: 01034531200000111719112510ABCD1234.
The issue now is that Adobe PDF does not support GS1 DataMatrix. So, is there a way to javascript a field to generate a GS1 DataMatrix. If so, how would I go about this or are there any alternative ways to proceed with this.
Thanks

You should be able to use the Data matrix type of bar code with a bar code field and format the data to whatever is called for in the GS1 spec.

Hello George,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that did not work when I tried it before. I had tried the following formats: (01)03453120000011(17)191125(10)ABCD1234, 01034531200000111719112510ABCD1234, FNC1(01)03453120000011(17)191125(10)ABCD1234 and FNC101034531200000111719112510ABCD1234
I had checked the barcodes under my verifer and they all had an incorrect data format. However if i enter (01)03453120000011(17)191125(10)ABCD1234 into https://www.online-qrcode-generator.com/gs1datamatrix it is GS1 compliant.
Any ideas?
Is there anything missing from my GS1 format?
Thanks
