Dear community,

Since two days i have been experiencing a problem. When I rigfht click on an email message and say "convert into adobe pdf", the conversion starts and the email turns into a PDF. Since 2 days, when I save I get the following preview and need to click on the right side down "open document" to get the real email. I tried all edit, preferences, reading.... etc. but nothing has worked.

Does anypone has a fix? many thanks in advance

Hi Diana,

Thank you for reaching out.

It seems that in the settings you might have selected Portfolio as the PDF output. That is the reason, email is converted in a PDF portfolio. To disable that, use the steps suggested below:

- Open the email account

- Click on the Acrobat ribbon and go to Preferences (Change conversion settings).

- In the Acrobat PDF maker window, go to Settings.

- Remove the check from the box for "Output Adobe Portfolio when creating a new PDF file"

- Click on the OK button to save the changes.

Now try to create PDF from an email.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thanks Meenakshi. All fixed now. Your solution worked. I found the Acrobat on the horizontal bar and I was looking under mail account. Happy now!
