Help with removing a blank signature block

I have an Adobe form that is generated from a website. The form has a signature block that I can use to sign the form. The signature block is blank (unsigned) when the PDF is generated. 

Whenever I try to edit the form I get a message that the form is signed an cannot be edited. The form is not signed (that I can see).

I am able to click the signature block, sign the document and then right click and clear signature. That leaves the blank signature block and I am able to edit the document.

Is there a faster or easier way to clear the signature block without having to actually sign it and then clear it?

Please share the PDF (or a test PDF with the same issue) for analysis. 

It sounds like that website that generated your form did something peculiar, but there are lots of peculiar things that may have been done...
