Highlighting Single Lines in PDF from Chrome

I have transitioned from Firefox to Chrome, and I'm using Adobe Acrobat Professional DC/11, 2015 Classic (version 19.0).  When I would "print" a web page to Acrobat in Firefox, I could highlight lines in the finished PDF as in a Word doc.  When I perform the same action in Chrome, the “cursor” is more that a paragraph wide so I can’t highlight a single sentence.  How do I fix this?

Windows 10, PC, 32GB Memory, Dell XPS

Thanks.

I have discovered (and it seems to work so far) that if I click the dropdown menu and choose "Create PDF" instead of "Print to PDF" that I get better results.

What exact command are you using to create the PDF file from Chrome?

"Create PDF" will treat the document more like a live file and less like a flat "To Print" file. So makes sense you are getting better results. Glad that worked.

Use Firefox or create the PDF in Adobe Acrobat.

I can use FF as a workaround, but I'd rather execute it from Chrome and leave FF behind.  Creating it in AA (meaning inserting the link URL in "PDF from web page") doesn't work if the article (for example) is behind a paywall.  I also have a bit less success this way with ending up with a text-like PDF and more likely to have a single-object (like a photo) which doesn't permit highlighting or copying text from the PDF.
