How can I create a PDF that can have the print marks turned on or off?

I want to create a PDF file for my clients that has the printer's marks and bleeds hidden and embedded within the file and let the print shop "turn on" or "reveal" the bleeds and crop marks.  Is there a way to do that?  That way I can just generate one PDF and not have to go hunting for the finalized job when the client decides he wants to get the job printed.  If that's not currently possible in acrobat, how do we go about getting that suggestion in to the programmers at Adobe?

Just set the CropBox to the TrimBox value, then reset the CropBox values to zero after approval (Tools > Print Production > Set Page Boxes). I think that this is better than moving the page marks to a separate layer and then making the layer content hidden, non printing etc (as then there is white space where the marks used to be). Of course you could use both methods, however that is overkill.
