How do I change the font size in the Comments pane?

Contributor ,

The type in the Comments in the Comments pane got very small sometime in the past few days. I did nothing to make that happen, at least not intentionally. The type in the list of files on the home page and other things on the home page has not changed. Changing the font size in the Comment preferences doesn't affect the Comments pane. How can I enlarge the type in the Comments pane?

Go to Menu - Preferences - Commenting, change the Font Size setting.

Yes I tried that, but as I said in my post above, that has no effect on the size of the type in the Comments panel, even after restart. See screenshots. What I would like to do is make the text in the side panel larger. It used to be larger. I have no idea why it suddenly got so small.

I have the exact same problem. Changing the comment font size in preferences affects the font size when I am typing the comment in but the list of all comments in the comments pane has become tiny!

I am having this exact same problem. The UI text in the Preferences panels is also the same tiny size now. When will this be fixed?

Yes, this issue with tiny fonts in the comment list started sometime in mid to late 2024 and it is not OK! I found the font with the highest x-height and general largest appearance is Verdana, so I've set that as my comments font until Adobe comes to their senses.

I went one farther, and used FontLab to create a version of Helvetica that's 130% larger and set that as my comments font. I called it Helvetica Huge. The line spacing is super tight, but at least I can see the letters easily now.

You monster! Genius move; it's too bad we users have to come up with such workarounds to make up for Adobe's poor UI decisions.
