Hello,
You need a CAD converter. Take a look at CrossManager.

Hi Felix1
Many thanks for your help.
I specifically asked the sales guy at Adobe if stp / igs formats were supported and he replied that they were.
Luckily I decided to take th 7 day trial before I purchased the full version.

Hi,
Tetra4D Converter (https://tetra4d.com/) has also a very good support for step formats. It also support validation properties for Step AP 242 files.

... Just found that U3d files (required format for 3d models within pdf files) can be exported via (free) "Meshlab" (at least Version 2023) and "DazStudio" ... i have been looking for this free-convert-option for a long time, hope it helps!
