How do I delete a certificate signature field?

I know how to clear the digital signature itself. That works fine. But I am left with a box and a red tab marking where the signature box is. I don't want this signature box here. I want to delete it. However, when I right click on the box, my only option is "Sign document". How do I delete this extra box?

You need to go to Prepare Form mode and then you'll be able to delete that

field entirely.
