Adobe ID is the ID under which you have purchased an Adobe product.

I just got mine to work for Adobe Digital Editions from exporting a google play ebook. 

I signed in to Adobe using google as my account credentials. I noticed that i didnt have a password set up in the account section of adobe. i set my password to match my google password. and then used my google email as my adobe ID. and the password i just edited to match my google password.
