There is a pic attached. How do I remove the Adobe AI Assistant? It is NOT the "Generative AI" button under Preferences. I already turned that off and it has changed nothing.
The pink and purple AI Assistant button persists.
AND everytime I do a search the "Looking for an Answer?" window pops up and blocks my screen. How do I make that AI search assist stop? There is no "X" or Exit, or Cancel, to make it go away.
How do I make Adobe AI Assistant stop, and disappear?

Does not work. First off I can not find "Settings" in my profile. There is Prefrences though, and it does bring up the screen you showed. Still, all is unchecked and the truly annoying AI crap pops up every Time I try to search. I have been going through Prefrences tuning eveyting off, still it keeps poping up.

The question the original user asked is how to turn off the AI features completely so they are not showing up in the program at all. Does Adobe not want people to have control over their documents? We do not need an AI generated summary every time we open a document or want to talk to a robot/computer when looking for answers. Some of us still like doing things for ourselves.

This is marked as the correct answer, but it should not be. Following the instructions in the help document does not disable the AI Assistant. I wish it did.

Hi @shutterbuggpro,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry to hear about your experience with Acrobat.
When you say it did not help, did you uncheck the checkbox saying "Enable Generative AI features in Acrobat?"
Once you did it, do you still see the AI Assistant? Can you please share a screenshot or a screen recording of the window you see when using Acrobat?
Also, this is something you can try:
Go to Start > Registry Editor > Location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown
create new D Word key: bEnableGentech
value: 0
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Souvik.
