I just replaced my old computer and downloaded Adobe to my new one. Problem is, every time I open a new tab or start the program, I get a Get Started pop up. There is no option to skip or don't show this again. It might not be bad for the normal user, but I make hundreds of PDFs a day and it's a time killer!

Unfortunately even on the 'old' version now, for the last two weeks, I'm getting popups every time Adobe Acrobat is opened.
I've disabled the 'show me messages' option but to no avail.
Unfortunatley it seems we get force-fed spam from Adobe now, even if paying for the product. Confirmed it happens on my missus home computer too, so not isolated.
Time to cancel the subscription and go back to FoxIt!

Same issue and if you close a file prior to hitting the x on the Get Started screen it causes the app to freeze and the only option is to End Task in Task Manager.
I work with 100s of files a day and this screen should be an opt out!

I have same problem.
Is there a workaround?
Thanks

See post above from Jennifer27262223wvnn. This seems to work. Need to disable "new Acrobat" -- then re-enable it. This worked for me, and seems to work for others.

this is very very irritating - there is no way to stop this - Adobe needs to fix - it feels like this past 5 years adobe has certainly tanked
