I cannot activate Acrobat Pro DC (2015 Release) on a Windows 10 Pro due to old Internet Explorer (version 11.00.19041.1202, according to the c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe properties).

How can I have Acrobat Pro DC to use Edge instead, which is also installed on the system?

Yes you can!

Do it like this:

1. Login to your Adobe account
2. Find Acrobat under "Your Product"
3. Download the installer (click on [Download])

you see there also the serial number
4. Run the installer
5. Run Acrobat

Acrobat Pro 2015 performs the activation the first time it runs

I am disappointed the support team did not point me to this easy solution and I wasted a couple of days.

In my Windows 10 Pro there is also an Internet Explorer v. 11 installed. This version should be OK to sign-in to activate the product according to:

https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html

However, Acrobat.exe complains this Internet Explorer version is too old.

Is there an alternative way to activate Acrobat Pro DC (2015 Release)?

Any thoughts on whether this solution still works? I've had to replace the HDD in my laptop and when trying to activate (after installing with an old installer), it constantly complains that my OS/IE is too old. I've tried the registry fix, but Adobe isn't being particularly helpful.
