I have 200 page documents, containing 30 chapters and numerous paragraphs.
Just finished adding (many) bookmarks. I would like to add page numbers to each bookmark, or
alternatively, create a kind of index from them with page numbers, so, when the document is printed
there will be an index similar to a normal book.
IF at all possible, how am I to proceed?
Acrobat 2017 Pro.
Thanks!
Both things are possible, using a script.
I've developed tools that allow you to do either one:
Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Create Table Of Contents (TOC) in a PDF file from Bookmarks
Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Add Page Numbers to Bookmarks
Copy link to clipboard

Okay, thanks.
Basically the answer is "No. Acrobat, by itself, does not offer this feature".
One needs for a 3rd party script, which no doubt makes sense when used regularly, but not for a one-off thing.
With all due respect and definitely no offense meant!
(Don't me wrong)
Again thanks!
