How to change the default author name?

When my laptop computer was first set out by the company's IT department they misspelled my name, so every comment I did in adobe would come out with my name spelled wrong, I had the IT guys fix my Laptop's Log in name but when I comment in Adobe, it still shows the same misspelled name, is there a way to make Adobe recognise the new name in the Windows 10 log in?? By the way I have the "Always use log in name for authors name" checkbox checked.

Did you go to Edit > Preferences > Comments and uncheck the "Always use login name as author name" box?

Go to your Account settings and change your profile name.

1. Open the link: https://account.adobe.com/profile 
2. Sign in using the Adobe ID and password.
3. Change you name and any other information that need correcting.
